Our Providers
Dr. Jeanne M. Schaefer
Dr. Schaefer has been a pediatrician in Edmond, OK since 1996. She attended Baylor University and received her Doctor of Medicine degree from University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX. In 1996 she completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK and began practicing pediatrics in Edmond, OK. Dr. Schaefer feels she was called to serve as a pediatrician during her middle school years and has made that her lifelong passion. She started First Choice Pediatrics in January 2010 to continue her passion of caring for children of all ages.
Kasey Choate, APRN
Kasey completed her RN degree at OU School of Nursing. She was employed at Mercy Hospital in the Women’s Health and OBGYN unit, where she acquired expertise in neonatal intensive care, medical surgical and oncology fields. She completed her Nurse Practitioner training through Graceland University in the fall of 2017. Kasey has been employed at First Choice Pediatrics since 2018. She and her husband reside in Edmond and enjoy spending time with their son.
